Notes on presence status | Members of the genus Oswaldocruzia occur in the intestines of amphibians and reptiles throughout the world. The natural mode of infection for saurian hosts is not conclusively known, but it might be by ingestion, when the lizard drinks water or by direct penetration from the substrate. |
