| Notes on presence status | Its arrival on Curaçao is suspected to be the result of the im-portation of infected Phoenix palms from Egypt. Shipments of palm from Curaçao to Aruba, and lack of phytosanitary measures, have resulted in the establishment of the species on Aruba. |
