Notes on presence status | By Peterson (2016) recorded as Sarkidiornis melanotos, as probably the subspecies Sarkidiornis melanotos sylvicola was meant, which has been split in two valid species. Rare visitor from South America. This bird might be a very infrequent visitor of St. Maarten, St. Eustatius and Saba according to Macrae et al (2021), but this species has not been recorded yet on these islands. |
