Presence status | Indigenous (1) - Saba Bank |
Notes on presence status | Originally, when there was only a single name for an entire species complex, the name was applied to all populations of that group. Since then, those species complexes were divided up and new names for regional populations were described. But older museum records and older publications would still have the old name. What was described for Curacao as Starksia atlantica is in fact S. springeri (Benjamin Victor, pers. comm). |
