Notes on presence status | Previously also recorded as Bursa granularis (Röding, 1798), Bursa granularis granularis (Röding, 1798) and Bura granularis cubaniana (d'Orbigny, 1841). Molecular research suggest that all specimens of these species are one and the same species for the tropical western Atlantic identified as Bursa cubaniana (d'Orbigny, 1841) (Sanders et al., 2017). |
